Christian education is offered at Providence from toddlers to adults. We are committed to present every member at Providence “mature in Christ” (Colossians 1:28) from the youngest to the oldest!

Sunday school is year round from 9:30 to 10:30, with certain breaks during the year.”

Children’s Sunday School

Currently, our kids aged toddler to younger elementary are studying the Old Testament Stories. Before breaking into smaller groups based on age, we meet together to learn the week’s Bible story and sing songs. Location: Fellowship Hall.

Youth Sunday School

Our older youth and younger teenagers are studying the Westminster Shorter Catechism with Pastor Herbster. This class is also an opportunity for our youth to discern professing the Christian faith for themselves. Location: Library.

Adult Sunday School

Our adults are currently in a study on the Christian life in relation to economics and financial stewardship taught by Elder John Witthohn. Location: Sanctuary.

Covenant Membership

Since the Christian life is lived in Christ and in a local church (Philippians 1:1), we facilitate this process by covenant membership classes led by Pastor Herbster and the Providence elders. If interested, please let Pastor Herbster or an elder know, as we offer classes from time to time in conjunction with one-on-one discipleship.
